The Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) reported newly confirmed COVID-19 cases on September 24. To resolutely guard against imported cases and strengthen the health management of inbound travelers and visitors who are coming or returning to Suzhou from the Macao SAR, this reminder thereby specifies the followings:
1. All travelers who are coming or returning to Suzhou should report to their residing communities and employers in due time, provided that they have a travel history to the Macao SAR since September 18. They should cooperate with information registration and nucleic acid testing, and undergo 14-day (starting from the day they left the Macao SAR) medical observation at designated places plus 7-day health monitoring at home.
2. During the home-based health monitoring, please avoid going outdoors and immediately report to local residing communities when you have such symptoms as fever and cough. In this case, you will be subject to closed-loop management and transferred to the nearest fever clinic via designated vehicle.
3. We call on all residents to pay serious attention to the situation in medium-risk and high-risk areas, suspend nonessential outbound travels and avoid going to medium-risk or high-risk areas unless absolutely necessary, including the Hong Kong SAR, the Macao SAR and Taiwan.
4. Please follow WeChat Public Account “苏州健康” (WeChat ID: health_suzhou) for the updates on medium-risk and high-risk areas.
All the aforementioned measures are subject to national and provincial requirements should there be any.
